My dogs also found a baby bunny nest tonight but I only found one bunny- I'm scared to think about what happened to the others. I had to move the nest more than 10 feet to get it away from my yard. I am just praying that the mother comes back around. Your story gives me hope for that little baby! This is the 3rd time we've had babies in our yard... I can only imagine your dogs doing what dogs want to do when finding small animals right in the middle of the lawn (my lab goes nuts with squirrels). I think it's wonderful that you did the research and were able to move them. But I'm wondering: what makes them safer where they are now? Is there a fence to protect them?
