Volunteers Still Needed for Relay for Life of Plainfield IL | Living In Plainfield
Jun 10th, 2007 by Julie
Volunteers are still being sought for the Plainfield Relay for Life on June 30th!
The event will be held from 2 pm on June 30th through July 1st at 6:00 am at Plainfield North High School at 12005 S. 248th St.
If you’ve ever thought about doing something good, here’s your chance! The Relay for Life helps raise money and awareness to finding a cure for cancer. To find out more call 815-254-2246 or e-mail jlparrothead@juno.com!
Which reminds me… I’ve got to get on this! It’s just around the corner. I’ve got too many reasons not to be part of this terrific cause, and this year I’ll not only be participating for all of the family I’ve lost to this disease, but in memory of Trevor Kott.
I’m working on a t-shirt to wear on the day of the event. If you are going to participate and want to create your own t-shirt design, please call or e-mail me and I’d be glad to help you design a creation in memory of your loved one or loved ones.
