I had the chance a few weeks ago to stop in at the Whisper Glen sales office, just off of Theodore Rd. in Shorewood IL. While I was there I met with the VP of Sales and Marketing, Amy Capista. It’s also where I met Dan Cerovac a mortgage broker from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage that I mentioned in a previous post.

I’ve just been so busy lately helping people buy and sell homes, that I’m just now getting the chance to write all about what a nice community they have started over there!

The homes in Whisper Glen start at: $239,500 for a 1650 sq. ft. home to about $319,000 for around 3000 sq. ft. , depending on the upgrades you choose. The range of contemporary floor-plans are perfect for families of all sizes!

Whisper Glen is part of the Plainfield Community Consolidated District #202. The neighborhood children attend: Charles Reed Elementary, Aux Sable Middle School, and Plainfield South High School.

Phoenix Developers has built homes in more than 33 local neighborhoods since 1986. In fact, very good friends of ours live in one of those neighborhoods called Sunset Ridge, just off of Bronk Rd. and Theodore.

I had a few minutes after I toured the models, to talk to Amy and Dan about the homes. I asked Amy which of the 8 models that they offer is the most popular; she quickly said The Biltmore!

The Builtmore was previously called The Belfare in the older Phoenix communities, which leads me to wonder? Could it be because it was the model that they built the most of… that it only made sense to change the name?! Built-more… get it?
