We just got in from a family date night at Bin 48 Wine Bar and Grille in downtown Plainfield!  I’d been wanting to try this place since earlier this summer after passing by it over and over while hanging out on Cruise Nights in the downtown area on Lockport Street.

Earlier this week my one of my friend’s on Facebook told me about a website called Restaurant.com.  She said that they were offering 80% off of their already discounted gift certificate program.  I got a $25 gift certificate from their site for Bin 48 Wine Bar and Grille for only $2. I actually got a few certificates for there so we can go back again!  I bought over $200 worth of gift certificates for local area Plainfield IL restaurants that I’ve been wanting to try.  With a family of 7, eating out can really turn into an expensive evening; tonight was a pleasant surprise when we got to deduct $25 from our bill!

Bin 48 Wine Bar and Grille had delicious food, a great atmosphere and a very friendly staff.  Tonight on special were $1.50 Sangria’s, and 1/2 price bottles of wine.  They also had a special offer called Take Flight which was for 4 glasses of any type of wine served by the glass for $16.

The place was packed when we got there and people were still coming in when we left.  If you are looking for a new local place to try in Plainfield IL, you won’t be disappointed if you give Bin 48 Wine Bar and Grille a try.
